I was looking over a forum topic in which some users request custom lineart recolors and/or frankens (which I am still too inexperienced to do) from mech shows, manga, etc. and I saw where someone asked for a Crossbone Gundam X3, whose lineart was not available on the main site aside from it's B&W manga lineart, to be made from the lineart for the Crossbone X1 "Skull Heart". Another user fulfilled the request by providing the official X3 lineart. Seeing this lineart for the first time myself, I saw that it had just enough detail for me to make a decent custom paint, but I, for the life of me, couldn't figure out exactly which colors I wanted to use, due to the somewhat limited colors provided. Eventually, I decided to do the opposite of the original request by putting the X3 in X1 colors. All of the colors used where already provided by the image itself. I used the "pick color" tool to borrow the blues for the torso, shoulders, and head crest from the knees, the colors for the V-fin from the mid torso, and I borrowed the light gray for the I-field "plate" from the arm it was attached to. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying too much attention to the details on the I-field "plate", and painted over them by accident. Original lineart by Hajime Katoki. New color scheme by zgmfx56simpulse.
